The Suzuki Bandit 1250S is widely regarded as a “do-it-all workhorse” that offers exceptional value for money, characterized by its massive low-end torque and bulletproof reliability. While it lacks the high-end excitement and premium finish of some rivals, it excels as a stable, comfortable long-distance tourer and daily commuter. The heart of the 1250S is its 1,255cc liquid-cooled inline-four, which prioritises real-world usability over peak horsepower. Unlike its air-cooled predecessors, the liquid-cooled engine is exceptionally smooth with near-perfect fuelling, though some reviewers describe it as “soulless” because it is so quiet and linear. Despite its weight, the Bandit is surprisingly agile. Standard ABS is a major plus, and the four-pot Tokico front callipers provide strong stopping power..
