This month we rode to Land’s End to make sure everything is OK down there, we enjoyed the Cornish hospitality for a night and returned on Sunday. Anyone wanting to join us next year, keep your eyes pealed for details. The Lands End Challenge raised almost £400.00 into the Good Deeds Pot, that helped towards fitting a Kliktronic Gear changing system to one of our Customers bikes, who had recently lost a leg.

Our “Player’s days” offer a time to meet, make plans, and introduce friends over a complimentary ‘Big Boys Banging Bacon Bap’ with a drink chucked in to wash it down. Some really great ideas have been tabled and we are working on making some of the more realistic come to life.
Our Team “Players” are establishing a really positive and active group. The Website (www.theoldboys.co.uk) is updated every month, with new facilities being added all the time. The “Bikes” for sale listings are gathering traction (having sold some 6 bikes last month, 2 from our own Website!).
We’ve been a little busy of late (more about that in November) our events this month were well attended after being scheduled on our Website, so watch out for updates, always worth considering as due to the unpredictable nature of our UK Summer weather these can be a little last minute.
Booking in advance is very much encouraged, as we then have an indication of numbers. It is very difficult to arrange quality events otherwise. To book, it’s very simple and if an event is cancelled, for any reason, all monies will be of course be fully refunded. Our “Ride Ins” are due to start soon – Ride outs with a difference!
New for 2025 ‘The Executive Old Boys European Tours’ we are calling ‘Incursions’ These are action packed trips to various locations all over Europe. Fly to a location where your bike will be waiting for you, and stay in quality accommodation, for up to 5 nights, including Flights, VIP tickets to events, exhibitions, shows and some of the craziest festivals around.

Also, also coming in 2025, ‘The Old Boys European Winter Challenge’ and Chase the Sun – Ride between our staging posts, strung out across the Southern Coast of Europe escaping the UK’s cold & nasty dark winter months. Complete the Challenge in stages. Nice, calm, easy rides, with no stress and no numb bum!!
Our new “Hangout” in Poole is so relaxed it is ridiculous, the self-serve canteen proving to be a great hit, the Workshop is busy servicing and doing a little custom work, and someone’s always on hand for a little advice, much tea drinking and putting the World to rights is still a favourite pastime.
