Lands End Challenge
OK, get ready for CARNAGE on the roads 10 & 11 August 2024
The Old Boys are staging their second of their ANNUAL SUMMER CHALLENGES – here goes…

The Starting line will be The Old Boys Workshop, 20 Lagland St, Poole BH15 1QG

Grab a Coffee and or Breakfast
DEPART anytime you wish on Saturday 10 August 2024, groups of 3 Riders are good, but we are not riding in formation and the route is entirely up to you… Leaving by 11.00hrs (it takes approx. 6 hours due to “comfort” & fuel stops) is a good target time….
1st Stop (80 miles from Poole) is Exeter service station (///button.rewarding.spin)
Your choice via Plymouth or Bodmin (support vehicle goes via Bodmin)
3rd Stop (104 miles from Exeter) McDonalds on the Loggans Moor roundabout (///yesterday.subplot.overnight)
ARRIVE after 20 miles from Loggans Rounabout at the Land’s End campsite ( ///jingles.darts.fortress ) approx. 18.00hrs
Tea and biscuits, setup, walk to Land’s End, PUB for dinner!
DEPART Land’s End Sunday 11 August 2024 circa 12.00 noon, after copious amounts of Coffee and bacon baps, should be back at The Old Boys around 18.00hrs, in time for a can or two!
Funds raised will be deposited into The Old Boys “Good Deeds Pot” to support a number of good causes and this year in particular, will subsidise some “Incursion” trips!!
This challenge is open to teams, or individuals and camping is included in the £25.00 entry fees.

Here are the “Rules of the Challenge” ;
- Entry is available from our Website theoldboys.co.uk
- Each entry is per bike and requires a £25.00 donation into the Good Deeds Pot – .
- Drop off your camping gear to The Old Boys and it will be taken to the campsite for you.
- This is NOT a race. Every rider is reminded to ride SAFE and within the law.
- There will be a challenge to complete Sunday on the way back…
There will be support vehicles available, ambulances, hearse and life insurance brokers on hand.
